I live in Monument Colorado. I love to focus my art on objects in Nature.

Deborah Hager was born in a suburb outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She had a strong interest in Art as a child.  After High School she attended Pittsburgh Art Institute and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Deborah completed her Bachelors of Fine Art, at Colorado State University, Pueblo.

Deborah has owned operated her studio Clay By Nature Pottery in located now in  Monument Colorado since 1999. Her main goal is to make functional pottery with a decorative flair. 

Deborah's training includes working at Van Briggle Pottery in Colorado Springs from 1995- 2008.
